Meet Miss Arizona Volunteer 2024
Megan Campbell-Smith is currently serving as the Senior Communications Specialist at Sonoran University of Health Sciences. A recent graduate of Grand Canyon University, Megan earned her B.A. in Organizational Communications with an emphasis in Broadcasting and New Media, graduating with Leadership Distinction. Megan is deeply passionate about making a difference, as reflected in her role as the Official Spokesperson for Donate Life Arizona and her community service initiative, Give the Gift of Life, which promotes blood, organ, and bone marrow donations. As the youngest and only woman elected as GCU’s Student Body Vice President, Megan continues to inspire as an advocate for positive change. Her aspirations include becoming the COO or VP of Marketing in the nonprofit sector, where she hopes to amplify her impact.
In addition to her professional and academic achievements, Megan’s personal journey is one of resilience and empowerment. As a vocal performer, she has showcased her talents through pieces like "Journey to the Past," and has earned notable accolades such as the Presidential Outstanding Community Service Award. Megan is also a proud advocate for mental and physical health, having overcome an anxiety disorder by aligning her well-being through fitness and healthy living. Megan's adventurous spirit is reflected in her remarkable experiences, from traveling to 12 countries in 30 days to co-founding a disaster relief effort after losing her childhood home to a wildfire. Her future goals include appearing on a game show, obtaining her MBA, and exploring Iceland.
