Sienna Tavernini

At just 15 years old, Sienna Tavernini is making a meaningful difference through her passion for teen mental health, leadership, and community service. A sophomore at Mountain View High School, Sienna is an accomplished competitive ballroom dancer, dedicated student, and advocate for helping young people find their voices.

Sienna participates in HOSA, DECA, and her school's dance program, serving as Social Media Officer for both DECA and the Elevate Dance Team. Her future aspirations include attending the University of Arizona or Stanford University, serving in the U.S. Air Force, and pursuing a career in medicine.

A Heart for Service

Through her S.E.R.V.E. Initiative, H.O.P.E.! — Helping Our Peers Endure!, Sienna is committed to supporting teens facing emotional and mental health challenges.

As a trained volunteer peer counselor with Teen Lifeline, she dedicates two afternoons each week to answering calls and texts from teens in crisis. Working alongside supervisors, she provides a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where young people can feel heard, supported, and encouraged.

Inspired by watching friends struggle with mental health challenges, Sienna hopes to increase awareness of Teen Lifeline and remind young people that they never have to face difficult times alone.

Beyond the Crown

An award-winning ballroom dancer, Sienna also enjoys photography, playing the flute, reading, and creative writing. She has served as a dance instructor's assistant and volunteered in her school's nurse's office.

As Miss Arizona Teen Volunteer 2027, Sienna hopes to inspire kindness, encourage volunteerism, and amplify her message of H.O.P.E. throughout Arizona.

In March 2027, she will proudly represent Arizona at the Miss Teen Volunteer America national competition in Jackson, Tennessee.

For Sienna, the crown is an opportunity to lead with compassion and remind every young person that their voice matters.
